Baba Fruits

We have been set up at 149/A M.G Road for quite a while now. Our spot is right at the East Street Corner in the Camp area, which is usually a very busy place throughout the day. Most people in the neighborhood know us because they walk past our crates every single morning on their way to work or while they are out doing their daily errands. We mostly just focus on getting fresh fruit in every morning and laying it out so people can see what is good. The shop isn't really big at all, but we try our best to keep it organized so the apples and oranges don't get bruised. Some days are much busier than others, especially when the seasonal stuff like mangoes or sweet grapes finally arrives from the market. We start our day very early when the trucks come in to drop off the new stock and spend a lot of time sorting through everything. It gets a bit crowded on this corner sometimes with all the traffic, but that is just how it is around here. We know many of the faces who stop by. Some folks just want a quick kilo of whatever looks ripe, while others stay to chat for a minute or two about the weather or the local news. It is a very simple setup. We keep the shelves stocked and hope the fruit is tasty. The noise on M.G Road is constant, but we are used to it. We don't have any fancy signs or displays. It is just us and the fruit.
