Katraj is a well-known part of town, especially with the zoo and the lake nearby. Our complex is usually quite busy with people coming and going from the various shops. Our office is a small, functional unit. We have packed quite a bit into the space, including several desks and all the files we need for our daily operations. We deal with reconstruction and infrastructure stuff, so there is always a lot of paperwork to sort through. The office can get a little loud when the traffic picks up on the main road, but we are used to it by now. We usually start our day around nine and stay until the work is finished. There is a small tea stall nearby where we get our morning fix. We are not a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. We are just a local team that knows the Pune area inside and out. Most of our conversations are about project timelines and how to move equipment from one place to another. We don't use a lot of big words or fancy talk here. We just describe what needs to happen and then we go out and do it. It is a plain and simple approach to the job.
