Asphamech Engineers is based out in the village of Velu, specifically at Gat No - 676. We are in the Bhor Taluka area. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but being out here gives us the space we need for our engineering work. The environment is much quieter than an urban industrial zone, though our workshop itself can get quite loud once the machines are running. We have a large shed where most of the engineering tasks take place. It’s a very practical setup with heavy tools and plenty of space for larger parts. The staff is mostly local people from Velu or nearby villages in Bhor. We start our day early to beat the midday heat. There is a lot of manual work involved, and we spend most of our time on the shop floor. The office is just a small partitioned area in the corner of the shed where we keep our files and drawings. It’s not fancy, and it definitely feels like a workshop. We deal with a lot of mechanical repairs and fabrication. Sometimes we have to wait for parts to be delivered from the city, which can slow things down, but usually, we stay busy with whatever is on the floor. It’s a simple, hardworking life out here in Velu. We focus on the engineering problems in front of us and try to keep our machines in good shape to handle the next job. We usually have lunch together under the big tree outside the shed.
