Ashoka Hotel

Ashoka Hotel is located at 2163 in Sadashiv Peth, right near the Neelayam Theatre. If you’ve spent any time in Pune, you know that Sadashiv Peth has a very specific feel to it. It’s an older part of town with narrow streets and a lot of history. We’ve been here for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change, though some things stay the same. Being near the theatre means we get a lot of people walking by after the shows let out. Our hotel isn't one of those new high-rise buildings you see in other parts of the city. It’s a bit more traditional and grounded. We handle everything ourselves, from the front desk to checking the linens. Sometimes the building shows its age, and we have to spend the weekend fixing a window or painting a wall. We don’t use any polished marketing speak to get people in. Most of the folks who stay here are people who have been coming to this part of 411030 for years. It’s a quiet life inside, even when the streets outside are full of scooters and people. We just focus on the basic tasks of running a guest house and making sure the tea is ready in the morning. We aren't trying to be anything other than a simple, local place in the heart of the Peth.
