If you head over to Baner in Pune, specifically to the Chordia Group building, you’ll find ASHDAN HOTEL MANAGEMENT PRIVATE LIMITED up on the 8th floor. We’re in Office Number 701, and while we’re a bit higher up than some, we’re still very much grounded in how we do things. Baner is a busy spot these days, full of offices and new buildings, but we try to keep a bit of a local feel in our workspace. We manage hotels, which means there’s always something going on that we didn’t plan for. It’s a lot of coordination and talking to different people all day long. The office is usually full of the sound of typing and people discussing the next steps for various projects. We don’t go in for all that corporate jargon. We just speak plainly and get to the point. The view from the 8th floor is nice, especially when the sun sets over Pune, but most of the time we’re too busy with our screens to notice. We’ve got a good group of people here who just want to do a solid job. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just focus on the management side of things and try to keep everything organized. It’s a lot of work, but we’ve built a routine that works for us.
