Arihant Dance Academy

We are located in the Akurdi Sunkadakatte area, which is where you will find Arihant Dance Academy. It is a local neighborhood with a mix of homes and small shops. Our space is just a large room that we’ve cleared out for dancing. We don’t have those fancy sprung floors or huge glass windows like you see in some of the big city studios. It is just a solid floor and enough space for people to move around. We spend our afternoons and evenings here. Sunkadakatte has a nice feel to it, and we are glad to be part of the community in Akurdi. The building is simple and doesn't stand out much from the others on the street. Inside, it’s mostly just the dance area and a small corner for bags and shoes. It can get pretty warm when a lot of people are here at once, so we keep the windows open to let the breeze in. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood while the music is playing. We handle all the cleaning and the scheduling ourselves. It is a very hands-on way to run things. We don’t have any big corporate goals or polished speeches. We just like having a place where we can dance and the academy gives us that. It’s a basic, honest spot for people who enjoy moving to the music without any of the extra baggage of a big professional studio.
