Apollo pharmacy

Our pharmacy is located in the Anil co-operative society on Prabhat Road. If you know the area, you know we are right near Kamala Nehru Park. It is a very green and quiet part of the city compared to the main roads. We get a lot of people stopping by after they have finished their morning or evening walk in the park. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into it. We have the usual shelves full of medicines and some daily essentials. Being part of a housing society means we know almost all our neighbors. People come in not just for their prescriptions but sometimes just to say hello or ask for advice on a small scrape. The building is older, which gives it a bit of character. We spend our time checking expiry dates and making sure the fridge for the insulin stays at the right temperature. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time parking on the narrow road, but we make it work. It’s a family-like atmosphere here. Most of the staff has been with us for years, so we know where everything is even if the shelves look a bit cluttered to an outsider. It is a steady life on Prabhat Road. We open early and stay open until the last of the park walkers have gone home for the night. We like it here in this corner of Pune.
