Anu Cashews

If you’re ever around Wanowire, specifically near the Super Mall on Salunke Vihar Road, you might see us. Anu Cashews is tucked away in T-16. Being in a mall means there’s always people walking by, but we’re mostly focused on our wholesale and regular customers. The space isn't huge, but it's packed with bags and boxes of cashews. The smell of the nuts is pretty much always there, which isn't a bad thing. We spend a lot of time sorting, packing, and making sure everything is fresh. Salunke Vihar Road is a busy place, and the mall gets quite crowded on the weekends. We’ve been here long enough that most of the other shop owners know us by name. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us handling the orders and talking to the suppliers. Sometimes the air conditioning in the mall is too cold, and other times it barely works, but we just get on with things. We aren't doing any fancy branding or big ads. People find us because they want good cashews without any fuss. It’s a lot of physical work, moving bags around and checking weights. We like the pace here in Wanowire. It keeps us on our toes. We just try to provide what people need and keep our small corner of the mall running smoothly. It is a simple job but it keeps us busy.
