We've been working out of the fifth floor here at Karan Tej Bonita for a while now. Ghole Road is usually pretty busy with traffic and people heading to Shivaji Nagar, but our office stays relatively quiet once you get upstairs to unit 501. It’s just us here, a small group of folks trying to get building projects done right in Pune. Dealing with construction in a city like this means a lot of paperwork and site visits. We spend most of our mornings on the phone or looking at site plans spread out on the desks. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we take the stairs if we're in a hurry. Being right near C.T.S No. 1187/16 makes it easy for people to find us, though parking is always a headache on this street. We don't have a fancy reception or anything, just some chairs and a water cooler for whoever stops by. Most of our day is spent coordinating with contractors and making sure the supplies show up where they’re supposed to. It's dusty work sometimes, and there are always delays you don't expect. We just keep at it, one day at a time, making sure the foundations are solid. We've lived in Pune long enough to know how things work here. It’s not a glamorous job, but we like seeing a project go from a hole in the ground to a finished structure people can actually use. That’s pretty much what we do every day.
