We are situated at 592 Jijamata Chowk on Ganesh Road, right across from the Lal Mahal in Budhwar Peth. This is one of the oldest parts of the city, and you can really feel that history when you walk through the narrow, winding lanes. Our office is in a building that has been around for a very long time. Because we are so close to Lal Mahal, there are always tourists and locals passing by, making the whole area very lively and loud. It’s not the easiest place to park a vehicle, so we do a lot of our moving around on foot or by scooter. The space we work in is a bit cramped, with high ceilings and old wooden doors that creak. We have folders and boxes everywhere because there isn't much storage space in these old structures. We handle the pharmaceutical trade for this busy district, which means we are constantly dealing with small orders from the nearby chemists. It gets very crowded in the afternoons, and the noise from the traffic outside never really stops. We’ve learned to work through the distractions. The staff here has been together for years, so we have a good rhythm with each other. We don't use any fancy software for everything; a lot of our notes are still written down in ledgers or on scraps of paper. It’s a traditional way of doing business in a very traditional part of town.
