Ancon Engineering

We’ve been here at 37 Aundh Road for a while now. Most people know the spot right by Ambedkar Chowk in Khadki. It’s a busy corner, but it works for us. Ancon Engineering is basically just a small team of us working through projects day by day. It gets dusty and loud in the shop, but that’s just how it is. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably see us in the middle of some work. Pune can get pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually start early to get the bulk of the heavy stuff done. We handle engineering tasks that come our way, mostly from locals or folks who’ve known us for years. There’s no big corporate board here, just the people you see when you walk through the door. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, other times it’s quiet enough to actually hear the machines. We try to keep things organized, but in a place like this, there’s always a bit of clutter from whatever we’re building. It’s a straightforward setup. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy for people to find us once they know where the landmark is. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but we’re still right here in Khadki, doing our bit and heading home when the sun goes down and the traffic settles.
