Anand Drug House

Anand Drug House is located at Shop No. 3 in Sant Tukaram Nagar. This part of Pimpri is always full of life. Our shop is quite small, but we managed to fit everything we need into it. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling, and we have a rolling ladder to reach the stuff at the top. It’s a bit of a squeeze when there are more than two people behind the counter. We’ve been here for quite some time, so we know most of the people who walk past our door. Sant Tukaram Nagar has a real community feel. Most of our day is spent helping people find what they need or checking the fridge for the medicines that need to stay cold. The counter is a bit worn out from all the years of service, but it’s sturdy. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done by hand in big books. Pimpri can be very hot in the summer, so we keep the door open to get whatever breeze we can. Sometimes the street noise is a bit much, but you get used to it. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. We’re just a local drug house trying to stay organized and serve the neighborhood. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We just keep things moving one customer at a time until it is time to close.
