Amul Parlour

Our Amul Parlour is located right on Sinhagad Road at Survey No 1044, inside the Sinhgad Technical Institute of Management. Since we are on a campus, we see a lot of students all day long. It's a busy spot, especially between classes when everyone rushes out for a quick snack or a cold drink. The shop is small and mostly filled with refrigerators. We spend a lot of time just restocking the milk and the ice cream cups because they go fast. It’s not a fancy lounge. There are a few benches outside where the students sit and talk. Sometimes it gets really noisy with all the college kids hanging around. We have to keep an eye on the stock because the delivery trucks don't always come on time. It can be a bit frustrating when we run out of the popular stuff. We open early for the morning staff and stay open until the evening classes are done. It’s a simple routine of checking the temperatures and making sure the bins are empty. We don't really do any marketing. The students know we are here and that's enough for us. It’s just a regular part of the campus life. We know the regulars and what they usually buy. It’s a steady job in a busy place. The floor is made of that cheap linoleum that's starting to peel at the edges. We have a small clock on the wall that's always five minutes fast. The students are usually nice, but they can be a bit loud. We keep empty crates stacked up until the truck comes back.
