Amar Ice Cream Parlour

Our little place is tucked away at No. 55 in Ramaniya Colony. If you walk down Lane 10A, you will see our sign hanging out front. It’s a quiet spot, mostly just families from the neighborhood stopping by after their dinner or on their way back home from work. We have a few small tables where the local kids usually sit and talk while they eat their cones. The freezer hums in the background all day and night, which is a sound we don't even notice anymore. We try to keep the place tidy, but with kids around, there’s always a sticky spot on the glass counter or a stray napkin on the floor. It’s not a big shop, just a local spot where people know each other’s names. We stock the usual flavors that everyone in the colony likes. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to worry about the stock, but that’s just part of living in this area. We’ve been in this colony for a while and the families around here are our main regulars. It gets a bit crowded on Sunday evenings when everyone is out for a walk. We don’t have any flashy lights or loud music, just the ice cream and a place to sit for a minute. It feels like home to us because we spend so much time here behind the counter. We see the same faces every week and it’s nice to have that routine in Lane 10A.
