Allied Logistics

Our office is over at Navrang Plaza, specifically shops six and seven. We are right next to the India Oil Petrol Pump on Tingre Nagar Road. If you are driving through Vishrantwadi, you’ve probably seen the petrol pump, and we are just there. It’s a busy road with a lot of trucks and vans passing by all day. Our days usually start pretty early with phone calls and checking on where drivers are. It’s not the quietest place to work because of the traffic outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend a lot of time looking at schedules and trying to figure out the best routes. Sometimes things get delayed because of the traffic or a breakdown, and then the phones start ringing even more. The office has a lot of files and a few desks that have seen better days. We aren't big on decorations or making things look pretty. It’s a functional space for a functional job. We grab tea from the stall nearby when things get stressful. Being in logistics means you’re always waiting on someone else or someone is waiting on you. We just try to keep things moving as much as we can. The evening time is usually when we wrap up the paperwork for the day's deliveries. It's a bit dusty with all the road work usually happening around here, but it's a spot that works for us and keeps us busy.
