We are located in Kothrud, right inside the Rajgad Society at building A-4. It is a pretty quiet residential area for the most part, which makes it a nice place to be. The room we use for our sessions has these large mirrors on one side. They are helpful for seeing the movements, but we have to wipe them down almost every day because of all the handprints and smudges. The floor is made of wood, and it has a bit of a creak in certain spots when everyone is jumping or moving together. We usually leave our shoes in a row by the entrance to keep the floor as clean as possible. There is a small desk where we keep the music player and some speakers. They aren't the newest speakers, but they get the job done and the sound fills the room well enough for our needs. Sometimes the neighbors in the other wings of Rajgad Society can hear the bass, but they are mostly used to us by now. We keep a few water bottles sitting on the window sill in case someone gets thirsty. It gets quite warm when the class is full, so we keep the windows open to let some air in from the gardens outside. You can see the trees and the society gate from where we stand. Most people who come here are from around Kothrud or the nearby apartment buildings. It’s just a regular space where we spend our evenings practicing.
