Ahura Farms

Ahura Farms is out at Gate No. 559 in Wagoli. We are right along the Nagar Road. It is more of an industrial and farming area, so it gets quite dusty when the wind picks up. We have a small office near the gate where we manage the farm operations and the logistics. It is not like a city office at all; there is usually some mud on the floor and the furniture is very basic. We spend a lot of time outside or standing by the gate watching the trucks come in. The Nagar Road is always busy with heavy vehicles, so it can be quite loud. We have a small shed where we keep some of the equipment and supplies. Most of the guys here wear boots because of the dirt. We don't have fancy computers, just one old laptop that we use for the accounts. It gets very hot in the middle of the day, so we usually take a long break when the sun is at its highest. There are some trees near the back where it is a bit cooler. We handle things as they come, and every day is a bit different depending on the weather or what needs to be moved. It’s a lot of physical work and being on your feet. We don’t really have a sign out front, just the gate number painted on the post in white.
