We operate out of Sai Baba Nagar in Kondhwa Khurd, specifically at M-201 in the Ashoka Summit housing society. Our company is Agwan Developers & Agriculturist LLP. It is a bit of an unusual mix, handling both building development and agricultural work, but that is what we do. Pune has changed so much, and where there were once just fields, there are now big societies like ours. Our office is basically a converted flat, so it has a very home-like feel to it. We have some desks and a printer that occasionally jams when we are in a hurry. Most of our day is spent talking to people about land or checking on construction progress. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably just find one of us drinking tea and looking over some plans. Kondhwa is a very lively area with lots of markets, so it’s never quiet. We like being part of the local community here. Our records are kept in simple folders, and we try our best to keep everything straight. It is a lot of hard work, especially dealing with all the different rules for land use. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to do a good job for the people who hire us and keep our business running steadily. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way of working.
