Acme Engineers

We are Acme Engineers, located over in Mate Nagar on Road Number 1 in Vadgaon Sheri. It’s a decent spot for an engineering outfit. Our space is mostly taken up by tools, some heavy equipment, and a few drafting tables where we look over plans. It’s not the cleanest place in the world—there’s usually some metal shavings on the floor or grease on the workbenches—but that’s how it is when you’re actually making things. We spend most of our time out in the shop area rather than sitting behind a desk. It gets noisy when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout to be heard. We don't have a dedicated salesperson or a fancy lobby; if you come by, you'll probably find one of us with our sleeves rolled up working on a project. We’ve been in Vadgaon Sheri for a bit, and we’ve gotten to know the other shop owners around Road No 1. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the job at hand. Sometimes a part doesn't fit quite right and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it, but that’s just engineering for you. We don't make big promises, we just show up and do the work that needs doing. It’s a basic, functional shop where we put in long hours and try to get things right for the people who hire us. The rain sometimes leaks through the back door, but we just put a bucket there.
