Acg World

You have to go up to the 4th floor of the Swargate Police Soc building to find Acg World. Being at 7/488 means we have a bit of a climb, but the view of the surrounding area from the windows isn't too bad. The building is a bit older, so the elevator can be a little temperamental sometimes. We’ve all just learned to take the stairs if we are in a hurry. Our office space is pretty basic. We have desks shoved in where they fit and piles of paper that never seem to get any smaller. It’s not one of those modern glass offices you see in the movies. It feels more like a lived-in space where actual work happens every day. Because we are in the police society area, it stays relatively orderly around here compared to the main roads. We can hear the city noise from down below, but it’s a bit muffled by the time it reaches the fourth floor. Usually, there is a pot of tea going in the small corner we use as a break area. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or looking at computer screens. It’s a steady routine of coming in, doing the work, and heading back down those stairs at the end of the shift. It’s just a normal place where we try to get things done without too much drama.
