Abhiyanta Infrastructure Private Limited operates out of a space in the Shanta Co-op Housing Society in Shivaji Nagar, Pune. Our address is 966B-4, which is a quiet enough spot compared to some of the busier parts of the city. We’ve been here for a while and the office feels pretty lived-in. There are old folders everywhere and a few computers that have seen better days. Most of our work involves infrastructure projects around Pune, so we spend a lot of time out of the office. We don't have any interest in sounding like a big corporate firm; we’re mostly just engineers and builders who like to get our hands dirty. The neighborhood is nice, with lots of trees, which makes it a good place to come back to after a long day on a hot site. We drink a lot of coffee and spend hours arguing over the best way to solve a drainage problem or a structural issue. It’s not always pretty, and sometimes we get behind on our admin work because we’re too focused on the actual construction. We know the local regulations in Pune pretty well, which helps us navigate the red tape. People in the housing society know us well, and we try to keep our noise down when we’re working late. It’s a steady life of building things and keeping the business running as best as we can. We are just local people doing what we know how to do.
