Abhijeet Pharma

Abhijeet Pharma is located at Shop No. 12 in Prachi Vihar. We are quite close to the Government Water Tank in Budhwar Peth, which is how most people find us if they haven’t been here before. It’s a small shop but it’s packed from floor to ceiling with different medicines. We spend a lot of time organizing the shelves because space is tight. If we don’t put things back in the exact same spot, we’ll never find them again. The neighborhood is pretty lively, and we see the same faces every day walking past the front. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just answer the phone and talk to people face-to-face. The morning starts with a quick sweep of the floor and then checking what we sold the day before so we can order more. Sometimes the delivery guy is late because of the narrow streets around Budhwar Peth, so we have to apologize to the customers. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when it’s quiet. It’s mostly just about being there when someone needs a specific tablet or syrup. We use a simple ledger to keep track of the accounts. It’s a bit old-school, but it works for us. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from the street, so we’re always wiping down the glass counters. It’s just a local pharmacy life.
