This part of the Khed Taluka is a major hub for automotive and industrial work, so it’s always busy with trucks and workers. Our facility is quite large because we need the space for all the specialized equipment used to make fasteners. It’s not the quietest place to spend a day, as there’s a constant sound of metal and machinery. We don't have a fancy corporate office in the city; we prefer to be right here where the parts are actually made. The office area is just a small part of the building, mostly used for planning the production schedules and keeping track of inventory. It can get pretty dusty and loud, but that’s just life in an industrial park. Most of us wear work clothes rather than suits, and we’re more likely to be found on the factory floor than in a boardroom. We don't go in for big mission statements or polished presentations. We just focus on making sure every fastener that leaves our gate is made the right way. It’s a long drive for some of us to get to Chakan every morning, but we’ve built a good community here over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the work that’s needed.
