Trichy Mushroom

Trichy Mushroom is tucked away in Keeranur. It’s a quiet place, which is exactly what we need for growing mushrooms. We don’t have a fancy street address with a lot of numbers, just the local area where everyone knows each other. The setup we have is pretty simple. We spend most of our time in the dark, humid sheds making sure everything is growing like it should. It’s a bit of a delicate process, and you have to be careful with the temperature and the soil. We aren’t a giant factory; it’s more of a small-scale thing where we do most of the work ourselves. You’ll usually find us covered in compost or checking the bags. People from the nearby towns come to us when they want fresh mushrooms for their cooking. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Mostly, it's just word of mouth between neighbors and local shops. Growing things like this takes a lot of patience and waking up early to check the crop. Sometimes the harvest is great, and sometimes it’s a bit lean, but that’s just how it goes with farming. We like being in Keeranur because it’s peaceful and allows us to focus on the mushrooms without too many distractions from the city. It’s just us doing our thing every day, making sure the harvest is ready for whoever needs it that week.
