Our company has a very long name, which is Alangai Jallikattu Agri Horti Crops Farmers Producer Company Limited. We are located in Ayyankottai at the address Dr No.573/3. It is a bit of a mouthful to say the whole thing, so we usually just focus on the work at hand. The name mentions Jallikattu because that is a big part of the culture here, and we deal with agricultural and horticultural crops. We are basically a group of farmers from the Ayyankottai area who wanted to organize ourselves. The office at 573/3 is where we keep all the records and hold our meetings. It is a basic room with some old fans and plenty of paperwork stacked on the tables. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait or talk in the shade.
