V. D. P. College

V. D. P. College is situated right at No. 5 Vayalkarai Street in Karaikal. If you know Pondicherry, you know how these streets can be. It’s a bit tucked away but the locals know it. We get a lot of humidity being where we are, so the fans are always going. The college isn’t huge, but it serves the purpose for the people around here. We have classrooms that get plenty of light in the mornings. You’ll often see students standing around the entrance talking before their first lecture starts. It’s a very local atmosphere. We don’t have those huge glass buildings you see in big cities. It’s more of a traditional setup. The staff handles everything from the main office near the entrance. We have a routine that we follow every day, starting early and finishing by the afternoon. Sometimes the street outside gets a bit narrow with parked scooters, but everyone manages. We see the same faces every day, both staff and students. It makes the place feel familiar. The 609602 area is where we belong, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while now. There isn’t a lot of extra space for fancy gardens, but we have enough room for the essentials. It’s just a practical place for education without any unnecessary bells and whistles. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and making sure the students have their schedules sorted.
