Wisemen Higher Secondary School

We are located on the Main Road in Mudaliarpet, right here in Pondicherry. Wisemen Higher Secondary School has been part of this neighborhood for a long time now. The street outside is always busy with scooters and cycles going past. Since we are in 605004, it stays pretty humid most of the year, so we are used to that sticky weather. The school building has big windows to let the air circulate, which helps a bit. We have a routine that hasn't changed much over the years. The bells ring, the kids change classes, and the teachers move from one room to the next with their chalk and registers. It’s a simple life. We have a small area for sports and a place where students sit to eat their tiffin boxes. There isn't much pretense here. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the students are prepared for their board exams. Sometimes the rain comes down really hard and we have to clear out the puddles from the entrance. It's just part of living in this part of the country. The local shops nearby know us well, and you'll see students stopping there after school for a snack. It’s a very local, grounded place where everyone knows everyone else. We just show up and do the job that needs doing every day.
