Crescent Higher Secondary School

We are located right at number 73 on Chanda Sahib Street in the middle of Pondicherry. It is one of those streets that feels very much like the old part of town. The school building has been around for quite a while, so it has that lived-in feel to it. We take students for their higher secondary years, which are usually the busiest for everyone involved. The classrooms are basic, with wooden desks and big windows to let in the air. On some days, you can hear the sounds of the street quite clearly, but the students are usually too busy with their notes to notice. We have a small courtyard in the middle where people gather during the breaks. It isn't a modern glass building; it is a solid, older structure that has seen a lot of classes come and go. The staff here are mostly local people who have been teaching for years. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the essentials for the science labs and the library. People come to us because we are right here in the neighborhood and have been for a long time. It’s a simple operation where we focus on getting through the textbooks and preparing for the final exams. There is no polish here, just a lot of hard work and daily lessons in a familiar setting.
