Ifet College

Ifet College is over here in Pondicherry. If you know the 605005 area, you probably passed by us once or twice. It is a big place with lots of rooms and hallways. Students are always running around from one class to another, especially in the mornings when things are busiest. We have been here for a good number of years now. It’s not always quiet, that’s for sure. You can hear the sounds of the city and the students talking about their exams or what they are doing for lunch. The staff here are just regular people. We have our meetings in a room that sometimes gets a bit stuffy, but we manage somehow. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in the world, we just want to make sure the students have a place to sit and learn their lessons. The campus has some trees which is nice when it gets really hot outside, which happens a lot in Pondicherry. Sometimes the equipment acts up or the internet is slow, but we just deal with it as it comes. It's a lot of management work, really. Keeping track of everyone and making sure the building stays in one piece is a full time job. We see a lot of faces come and go every year. It’s just how the cycle goes here. We open the doors early and stay until the sun goes down.
