First Step Day Care & Nursery

We are located at No 17 on 6th Cross Street in Moolakulam. It’s a pretty easy place to find here in Pondicherry. First Step Day Care & Nursery is where we spend our days. It’s a small operation, mostly just focused on looking after the toddlers and nursery-aged kids from around the neighborhood. We’ve set up the rooms with enough space for them to play and learn their ABCs. It’s not some big fancy school, just a humble day care and nursery where kids can be kids. We started this because there weren't many options nearby for working parents. We try to keep a calm environment, though with children, that’s not always possible. Pondicherry has its own pace, and we fit right into that. We see the same faces every morning at the gate. It’s nice to see the kids growing up and moving on to bigger schools after they’ve been with us for a while. Our address on 6th Cross Street is a quiet one, which helps. We don't do a lot of advertising, we just focus on the children who are here now. It's a lot of cleaning and organizing, but we don't mind. We just want to provide a reliable place for the local families in Moolakulam. We have been here for a few years now and have gotten to know the people well.
