Power Kids Play School

Down here on Ulundhurpet Road at number 26, you’ll find Power Kids Play School. We are right in the heart of Mangalampettai. It’s a small place, mostly because we work with little children who don’t need huge halls. We spend our days watching over toddlers and preschoolers. Most of the time it’s just a lot of singing, drawing, and playing with blocks. The building is easy to spot if you are driving along the main road. We started this because there weren't many places nearby where parents could drop their kids off for a few hours. It’s mostly us and a few helpers making sure everyone is safe and has had their lunch. The rooms are painted in bright colors, though the walls have a few scuffs from the toys over the years. We don’t have a fancy website or a big office. Usually, it’s just one of us sitting at the front desk handling the paperwork while the kids are busy in the back. Parents stop by to chat when they pick up their children in the afternoon. It gets a bit chaotic when everyone is leaving at once, but that’s just how it goes with a play school. We’ve become a familiar face in the neighborhood. It’s simple, honest work, and we just keep things running day by day for the local families. We keep a few extra sets of clothes for the kids just in case of spills. It’s a busy little house full of life and noise.
