Iris Florets Lawspet

We are located at No. 26 in Tagore Nagar, which is a fairly quiet part of Lawspet in Pondicherry. This is a preschool and nursery, so most of our day involves little kids running around. The building is on the 10th Cross, and it’s a typical neighborhood house that’s been converted for school use. It feels more like a home than a school sometimes. There are bright colors on the walls and plenty of toys scattered around the rooms. We spend a lot of time just watching over the toddlers and making sure they are safe while they play. The teachers are used to the noise and the occasional tears when parents drop their children off in the morning. It’s a small operation, and we don't have a big corporate structure behind us. We just focus on the daily routine—snacks, naps, and some basic learning activities. The street outside is usually pretty calm, except when the parents come to pick the kids up in the afternoon. We have a small outdoor area where the children can get some fresh air. It isn’t anything fancy, but it works for what we need. Most of our staff lives nearby in Pondicherry. We just try to make it a comfortable place for the kids to spend a few hours every day while their parents are at work.
