Lohitaang Agro Producer Company Limited

Our office is in Awas Vikas Colony in Nawabganj. It’s at 4/233. It’s a bit different than being right on a farm, but we still do all the agro producer work you would expect. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the guys out in the fields. The colony is usually quiet, but we have people coming in and out for meetings throughout the day. We have a lot of files and maps piled up on the desks. It’s hard to keep everything straight sometimes when things get busy. We don't have a big sign, just a small one near the gate so people don't get lost. Nawabganj is a busy place so we have to leave early to beat the traffic on the main roads. We deal with all sorts of agricultural products from the region. Sometimes the office smells like whatever we are testing or sampling that day. We use a lot of paper for the records because we don't trust the computer to save everything correctly. It's a small team of us working here. We drink tea from the stall around the corner every afternoon. We don't do any big advertising or marketing. Most people find us through word of mouth and talking to other farmers. It's a practical business for practical people. We focus on the logistics of getting the crops from the farm to the buyers. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking daily prices.
