Karchhanaagri Farmer Producer Company Limited is located over at Kuwar Singh’s place in Ghatwa Sonai. It’s right in the Karchhana area of Prayagraj. We started this to help the farmers around our village. Farming is tough work, and doing it alone is even tougher. We mostly deal with the crops grown right here in our soil. The office isn't much to look at, just a spot where we meet and talk about seeds or what the market is doing. We spend a lot of time out in the fields, not sitting behind desks. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should, and that’s a worry we all share. Being in Prayagraj gives us a good connection to the bigger markets, but we stay focused on Ghatwa Sonai. People know us by name here. It’s a group effort. We don’t use big words or have fancy brochures. If you need to find us, just ask for Kuwar Singh’s house. We handle the paperwork and try to get a fair deal for the grain. It's a lot of back and forth with the local guys. Some days are slow, others we are running around until sunset. We are just a bunch of neighbors trying to make the farm work a bit better for everyone involved. We take our time with the records and make sure everything is noted down correctly.
