Our place is in Amora, out in Bamila, near Allahabad. It’s sitting right at number 43, where Raghavendr Singh looks after things. We focus a lot on the stock side of agriculture. Basically, we have space for the stuff farmers grow so it doesn't just sit out in the weather. It’s a practical business. We don't have any shiny signs or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably see some trucks moving or people checking the inventory lists. The sun gets really hot in Uttar Pradesh during the summer, so we spend a lot of time making sure everything stays cool and dry inside. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and moving things around. We aren't really into the whole corporate lifestyle. Most of us grew up right around here, so we know all the families. We talk about the rain a lot, like everyone else. If the monsoon is late, things get quiet. When harvest hits, it gets really loud and busy. We try to keep a decent rhythm going so nobody gets too stressed out. It’s just us trying to make a living and helping the local growers have a place for their stock. Sometimes the paperwork is a headache, but we manage. You won't find any fancy reception desks here. Just a few desks, some chairs, and plenty of talk about the local crops. It's honest work and we do our best with it every single day.
