Our place is at 103/42 on MLN Road in Allahabad. It’s an old street with a lot of history, and we’ve been here for a bit now. Allahabad Research Bio Energy Farmer Producer Company Limited is the name on our papers. We mostly look at bio energy and how it fits with local farming. It sounds complicated, but we just look at what can be reused from the fields. We aren't scientists in white coats. We are just people who know the land and the crops. The office is usually a bit messy with notes and samples. We talk to farmers about their waste and what else they can do with it. The weather in Uttar Pradesh can be tough, so we try to find ways to make the energy side of things more reliable. People drop by MLN Road quite often to ask questions. We don't have a receptionist. If someone's here, they'll answer the door. We drink plenty of chai while we work through the numbers. It’s a small operation, really. We wanted to stay local and keep things grounded. There's no fancy marketing here. Just a bunch of us trying to figure out how to make bio energy work for the everyday farmer. It takes a lot of time and patience. Some days are better than others, but we keep coming back to the office every morning. We just want to do right by the people we work with.
