Welcomhotel Grandbay

You can find us over at 7-115/3 in Prasanti Nagar, which is in the Pendurthy area of Visakhapatnam. Welcomhotel Grandbay is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s not right in the middle of the noisy city center, which is a nice change of pace. Pendurthy has its own vibe, a bit more relaxed than the harbor side of town. We handle the daily operations here, making sure the rooms are ready and the kitchen has what it needs. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. There's always a light that needs fixing or a floor that needs another scrub. We aren't big on corporate jargon here; we just talk to each other and get the work done. The staff is mostly local folks from around the neighborhood. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years. Some days are incredibly hectic when a big group arrives, and other days we’re just waiting for the next check-in. The humidity in Vizag can be tough on the building, so maintenance is a never-ending job. We try to keep the place looking decent without being overly stiff about it. If you stop by, you’ll see us running around in our uniforms, probably looking a bit tired but still doing the job. It’s a real place with real people working hard to keep things running smoothly for everyone who stays with us. No frills, just the daily grind of the hotel life. It stays busy.
