Hotel Maurya-Patna

We are based in Patna, specifically over near the East Railway Cabin in Laljitola. Our spot is c/o Nilam Yadav's place. It is a bit of a local landmark if you know the area well. This part of town is always noisy because of the trains passing by, but you get used to the sound after a few days. Hotel Maurya-Patna isn't your typical big city hotel with a revolving door. It’s a bit more modest and grounded. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are tidy and that the water is running right. Sometimes the plumbing acts up because the building is older, but we fix it as fast as we can. We have a small staff who have been here for years. We know the regular guests who come through Patna for work. It’s a practical place to stay if you need to be near the railway tracks. There is no big neon sign, just a regular entrance that leads into our lobby. We don't have a fancy chef, but the food is decent and fills you up. Most of the time, you will find one of us sitting behind the wooden desk checking the ledger. It’s a simple life here in Laljitola. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the guests have a place to sleep at night.
