Vijay Uniform

Vijay Uniform is located at No. 8 C, very close to AIIMS in Busola. Being near the hospital means we see a lot of people coming and going all day. Our shop is usually packed with rolls of fabric and half-finished shirts. We make uniforms for schools, hospitals, and local businesses. You can hear the sewing machines running from the moment we open. It’s a small space, so it gets a bit crowded when a few people come in at once for fittings. We’ve got measuring tapes draped over chairs and chalk marks on the cutting tables. My family has been doing this kind of work for a long time. We don’t have a big marketing plan; people just find us because we’re right here near AIIMS. Sometimes we get a big order and have to stay late to finish all the stitching. The light in the shop isn't the best, so we do the detailed work near the front window. We don't have a fancy display, just a few samples hanging on the wall so people can see the quality of the cloth. It’s dusty from all the lint and thread, but that’s just part of the job. Most of our customers are neighbors or people who work at the nearby medical center. We try to get the sizing right the first time, though sometimes we have to do a quick fix while they wait.
