Vidhya Parthi Higher Secondary School

Our school, Vidhya Parthi Higher Secondary, is situated at Deeraj Niwas on the New Bypass Road. This is in the Harnichak area of Anisabad in Patna, 800002. Since we are near the bypass, it’s quite a noisy spot with trucks and buses passing by all the time. The building itself, Deeraj Niwas, is a multi-story structure that we have converted into a school. Being a higher secondary school, we have a lot of older students who are preparing for their final exams. The atmosphere is usually a bit serious because of that, but you still hear the usual chatter during the lunch hour. We have a few labs for the science subjects, though the equipment is basic. The classrooms are filled with rows of desks, and we use every bit of wall space for maps and charts. The stairs are always busy between periods. Our office is on the ground floor where we handle all the admissions and fees. It’s a bit of a dusty location because of the road construction nearby, so we are always cleaning the windows and desks. We don't have a fancy canteen, so most kids bring their own tiffin boxes. It’s a very local operation. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the auto drivers who bring the students. It’s just a busy school trying to help kids finish their higher secondary education in Anisabad. We do our best with what we have.
