If you know Digha Ghat, you know how the traffic can get on the Digha-Aashiyaana Road. Our college is right in the thick of it. It’s a big place, and we have a lot going on every day between the management classes and the regular degree courses. We’ve been here long enough that most people use the college as a landmark when giving directions. The gates are always busy with students rushing to catch their morning lectures. Inside, it’s a bit quieter than the street outside. We have these old corridors that stay cool even when it’s hot out. The faculty rooms are usually piled high with papers and books. It isn't always perfectly organized, but things get done eventually. We spend a lot of time just making sure the schedules work for everyone. Lunch breaks are loud, with everyone heading to the canteen or just sitting on the steps. It’s a mix of different people from all over, which makes the days go by fast. We don’t really do much flashy stuff. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the exams happen on time. The rain sometimes floods the entrance a bit, but we just put down some bricks and keep moving. It’s a lively spot to be in, even with all the noise from the road. We stay late most evenings to lock up and finish the paperwork.
