We’ve been here in Samanpura for a good while now. Our place is over at Alam Manzil, which isn't hard to find if you know the Patna area well. It’s just a regular building where we handle the economic development and social work stuff. Most days it’s pretty quiet, just people coming in and out for classes or meetings. The street outside can get a bit crowded with traffic, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get somewhere. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just desks, books, and people trying to learn something new. The staff here are mostly locals who’ve lived in Bihar their whole lives. We started the Lalit Narain Mishra Institute For Economic Development And S because there was a need for it in the community, and we just kept going year after year. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but that’s just how things are around here and we deal with it. We don't try to be anything we’re not. It’s a place for study and work, and we try to keep it organized enough so people can get what they need done. If you walk past the gate, you might see a few students hanging around talking about their day. It's just a part of the neighborhood now. Nothing flashy, just a steady spot in Samanpura where the work gets done day by day. We are glad to be here.
