The Pink Fairy Beauty Salon

The Pink Fairy Beauty Salon sits right behind Uttam Palace Apartment in the Khajpura area. We are in Madhu Kunj, specifically B/66 in Ashok Puri Colony. If you are coming down Beiley Road, it is not too hard to find once you get into the colony streets. The shop isn't huge, just a few chairs and some mirrors where we do hair and basic skin stuff for the women in the neighborhood. Usually, the morning starts with sweeping the floor and getting the towels ready. Patna gets quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass shelves. There is a small desk at the front where we keep the register and some old magazines for people waiting. Most of our regulars live just a few houses away, so they just walk over. We don't have a big sign or anything fancy outside, just the name on the door. It gets a bit crowded on Sunday afternoons when everyone wants their hair done for the week. We try to keep things moving so no one sits too long. The lighting inside is bright enough to see what we are doing, and we usually have a small fan running to keep the air moving. It’s just a normal place where people come to get their eyebrows done or a quick haircut without much fuss. We’ve been at this address for a while now and know most of the faces that come through the door.
