Our salon is tucked away in the J J Complex right on Boring Canal Road. If you know where the Reliance Web World is, then you have probably walked past us a dozen times. Being on Boring Road means there is always noise and people outside, but inside we just focus on whatever needs doing. It’s mostly local women who stop by after doing their shopping or on their way home from work. The space isn't huge, but we make it work with the chairs and the wash station we have. Sometimes the water pressure acts up, or the electricity goes for a bit, but that's just how things are here in Patna. We keep the scissors sharp and the towels as clean as we can. We don't talk like those big fancy salons you see in malls. We just do the haircuts and the threadings that people ask for. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the complex, but we have the curtains up. We started Hair Naturelle Ladies Beauty Salon because we knew how to do hair and wanted a place of our own. It’s been a few years now. We know most of our regulars by name and what they like. There’s no need for big speeches about what we do. We just open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customer to come through the door.
