Alovera Beauty Parlor

Our shop is at House No.B/23 on Boring Canal Road. It’s right near the Boring Road Crossing in Patna, so it’s easy to find if you’re in the 800001 area. We called it Alovera Beauty Parlor because it sounded nice and simple. The shop is actually part of an old house. We converted the front part into the parlor. It’s got a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it. The walls are a light green color, which matches the name. We do basic beauty work for the ladies who live around the crossing. The traffic outside is always a bit much, especially during rush hour, but inside it’s a little quieter. We have a small TV that’s usually playing some local news or songs. It keeps the customers entertained while they wait. My sister helps me out on the weekends when it gets a bit busier. We don't have any fancy signs or neon lights. Just a painted board that says Alovera Beauty Parlor. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the window when there’s a big storm, so we have to put a bucket there. It’s not perfect, but it’s our place. Most people who come here are regulars who have been coming since we opened. We know most of their names and how they like their hair done. It’s a comfortable routine for everyone involved.
