Neha Buty Parlour

Our parlour is on Buddha Marg in the Lodipur area of Patna. It’s a good spot because we are right opposite the Durga Mandir. During the puja times, the whole street is full of people and music, and we can see everything from our front door. Neha Buty Parlour is a modest place. We have our equipment set up and some chairs for the ladies to wait. Patna can be quite hectic, and Buddha Marg always has cars and rickshaws honking. Inside, we try to keep things a bit more orderly. We do all the usual things like haircuts, facials, and bridal makeup when the season comes around. The walls are painted a simple color and we have a few mirrors that we try to keep smudge-free. Sometimes the electricity goes out, and we have to manage with what we can, but that’s just life here. We’ve known most of our customers for years. They live in the surrounding lanes of Lodipur and stop by to say hello even if they don’t need anything done. It’s a small business run by people who live nearby. We don't have any big plans, just keeping the shop open and doing the work. It’s a busy corner of the world, but it’s our corner and we are used to the noise and the crowds. We just try to stay focused on the task at hand.
