St. Marx Academy

St. Marx Academy is located right on Chandmari Road in the Kankarbagh area of Patna. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s always busy with traffic and people moving about. Our school sits right in the middle of all that activity. We’ve been operating here for a good while, serving the families in the 800020 zip code. The school building has several floors, and we use every bit of space we have for the kids. Mornings are the loudest time when the rickshaws and vans drop everyone off. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we manage. Inside, it’s a bit quieter. We have the usual desks, blackboards, and charts on the walls made by the students. The teachers are mostly local people who understand the community here. We don’t have a massive playground, but the children find ways to enjoy their break time. Life here is about the daily routine of lessons and exams. It’s an honest place where we just try to get through the curriculum every year. Patna is a crowded city, and our school is just one small part of the neighborhood. We see the kids grow up from small children to teenagers before they move on to college. It’s just what we do here every day. It's nothing special to look at from the outside, but it's where the learning happens for our local kids.
