Srm Community College

We’ve been here in Punpun for a while now. Patna is busy, but out here it’s a bit different. Srm Community College started because there wasn't much around for the local kids to do after finishing school. We just opened the doors and people started coming. It’s not a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. Just some rooms where folks sit down and learn things they can actually use. Some days are noisy, especially when classes are letting out. The address is 804453, right in the heart of the village area. It gets dusty in the summer. We have a few teachers who live nearby. They walk to work or take a cycle. It's mostly about giving people a spot to study without having to travel all the way into the main city. We keep the benches clean and make sure there’s water for everyone. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just keep going. It feels good to see the students talking in the hallway. They talk about their exams or just life in general. We don't have a big office. Most of the work happens right there in the classrooms or at the small desk near the entrance. It's just a normal place for normal people trying to get ahead. We don't make a big fuss about things. We just stay open and wait for the morning bell to ring. Every day is pretty much the same and that's okay.
