Ramrup Prasad B.Ed. College. We are situated in Bhergawan, which is in the Dhanarua area of Patna. It’s a bit far from the main city of Patna, so it’s much quieter out here. This is a college specifically for people who are training to become teachers. The campus is a simple one, with a few buildings and some open ground around them. It feels more like being in the countryside than being in a big city. Students come here from the surrounding villages and towns in Bihar. The classrooms are large and have plenty of light coming in from the windows. We have a small staff room where the lecturers sit and talk about the day’s work. There isn't much to do around the college, so students mostly focus on their studies while they are here. The building is a plain concrete one, and we’ve tried to keep it clean over the years. You might see some cattle grazing nearby or people working in the fields, which gives the place a very calm feeling. We have a small library with books on teaching and education. It’s a humble place, and we don't have any big advertisements or polished signs. People find out about us through word of mouth or because they live in the district. We just open up every day and do our part in training the next group of teachers.
