Nirvana Cottage

Nirvana Cottage is where we spend most of our time. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here in India. We didn't really plan on making this a whole business at first, but people started asking to stay, so here we are. It’s quiet out here, away from the big city noise that usually gives me a headache. We have a few rooms and a bit of space outside where the grass grows a bit too fast in the rainy season. I spend a lot of my mornings just sweeping the porch and making sure there’s enough water for everyone. It isn't a five-star place, just a cottage with some old furniture and walls that could probably use a new coat of paint soon. My brother helps out with the gardening when he isn't busy with his own stuff. We don't have a website or anything fancy like that. Most people just hear about us from friends or stumble upon us. Sometimes the power goes out in the evenings, so we keep candles handy. It’s just how things go around here. We like the slow pace. It gives us time to talk to the guests about their travels or just sit and watch the birds. We don't promise anything special, just a bed and maybe a cup of tea if the stove is behaving. It’s a small life but it suits us well enough. We hope people feel relaxed when they leave.
